[HCM] Senior Business Analyst — Finance & Operations (Workflow & Project Lead)

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly autonomous, business-driven Senior Business Analyst to lead the transformation of our operational and financial workflows. In this role, you will act as an independent project owner, taking full accountability for initiatives that directly drive profitability, cost savings, and organizational efficiency. You will serve as a lead negotiator and strategic liaison, aligning diverse internal departments and external partners to eliminate operational friction and maximize financial returns.

Key Responsibilities

1. Workflow Architecture & Business Transformation

• Lead the end-to-end design and optimization of operational and financial workflows to directly increase profit margins and reduce operational waste.
• Identify high-risk financial leaks and operational bottlenecks, implementing scalable solutions that protect the bottom line.
• Standardize business processes across departments to ensure predictable, high-quality outcomes and seamless daily operations.

2. Stakeholder Management & Strategic Negotiation

• Serve as the primary negotiator and bridge between internal departments (Finance, Leadership, Sales, Operations) and external vendors.
• Align conflicting priorities among diverse groups to secure buy-in and financial investment for major change initiatives.
• Negotiate project scopes, delivery Timelines, and vendor service level agreements (SLAs) to protect company interests and resources.

3. Independent Project Leadership & Value Delivery

• Own and drive high-impact internal projects from initial concept to full implementation with minimal oversight.
• Build and present compelling business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and ROI projections to secure executive approval.
• Take accountability for project outcomes, tracking post-implementation metrics to prove real-world financial and operational impact.

4. Change Management & Adoption

• Guide business teams through organizational changes, ensuring high adoption rates for new workflows and operational models.
• Translate strategic business goals into clear, actionable operational steps for non-technical teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of experience leading business analysis, operational turnarounds, or corporate change initiatives.
• Core Competencies:
  • Exceptional negotiation, mediation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong financial acumen (budgeting, commercial revenue tracking, ROI analysis).
  • Proven ability to manage complex business projects independently from start to finish.
• Skills: Proficient in business process mapping (Visio, Miro, or similar), project tracking tools, and commercial financial modeling (Excel).
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or a related field.
